Train the Trainer

The aim of this course is to enable a candidate to deliver effective training to small groups and assess the training outcomes. At the conclusion of the course, candidates will have come to understand the training cycle and the assessment process. They will have come to understand the different learning styles of trainees and learnt to accommodate these to maximise the adult learning experience.

Candidates will have learnt how to go about:

  • Assuring health and safety in a training environment;
  • Understanding the training cycle and the assessment process;
  • Identifying the qualities of an effective trainer;
  • Recognising different learning styles and basic body language;
  • Confirming instruction has been assimilated;
  • Delivering both a theory and practical lesson.

Candidates are welcome to bring any equipment they require to assist their presentations.
